Meet the staff at Skin RN

John David Rosdeutscher, M.D.

Dr. John David Rosdeutscher, M.D. is a native of Bowling Green, KY and went to college and medical school and Vanderbilt University. While a medical student, he served as class social chairman his first two years, class vice-president his third year, and class president his fourth year.

After medical school, Dr. Rosdeutscher interned in general surgery and did a residency in Otolaryngoloy/Head & neck Surgery at University of Cincinnati. He also completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of Louisville, including hand surgery training with Kleinert, Kutz, and Associates of Louisville Hand Surgery.

Dr. Rosdeutscher is a certified diplomate by both the American Board of Otalaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. From 2000-2003, he served as Assistant Professor of Surgery and Chief of Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgery at Meharry Medical College and Metro Nashville General Hospital. Dr. Rosdeutscher is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at VUSM.

After training, he moved back to Nashville where he now lives with his wife Kimberly, a practicing pediatrician, and their two sons Jordan and Noah. He has been practicing in Nashville since 1998.

Heather Hull

I am a licensed Aesthetician and proud wife of a Soldier in the U.S Army.

My journey through the beauty industry began when I was sixteen years old. I worked as a free-lance makeup artist at Belk for the Estee’ Lauder counter doing seasonal makeup events and shortly after became employed there as a beauty advisor for Elizabeth Arden. I enjoyed my position but was young and had my eye on the Clinique counter. The products fit the skin care needs for women my age more than Elizabeth Arden. Clinique Counter Manager was my next mile stone. Learning skin types and conditions, product ingredients, and how to customize an at home regimen that meets the customers exact needs. This is where I realized how interested I really was in skin care and wanted to learn even more.

I moved to Nashville, TN, now working at a Medical Spa as the Retail Sales Manager. This still was not enough for me because I not only wanted my customers to have the right at home care, but I also wanted to provide their treatments as well. I went back to school a year later and finally got my Aesthetician license.

I now continue my wonderful career at Skin RN. Everyone feels like part of the family here. I love what I do and have worked very hard to get here. We build trust and meaningful relationships with our clients and that is so important. I promise to always take care of you, to be honest, positive, and actively involved in gaining new education that makes me better every day.

Christy Taylor

Position: Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Specialty: Injections, Laser Treatments, Facials, Permanent Makeup
Years Experience in Medical Aesthetics: 10 Years

I began my career in the beauty industry 10 years ago as a Cosmetologist/Aesthetician. I worked for an upscale Salon and Day Spa doing various Hair and Skin treatments. As the aesthetic services became a higher demand, I found myself spending a lot of time in the facial room. This is where I found my love for skin! From there my focus was learning as much as I could about how the skin functions, medical skin conditions, and the most effective ways to treat them. I continued my education by attending several laser, chemical peels, permanent makeup, medical skin care, Botox and Injectable classes to become licensed as a Medical Aesthetician. Today, I have a very fulfilling career at Skin RN where I perform various Skin, Laser, Injectable, and Cosmetic procedures to ensure healthy, glowing skin. The most rewarding thing of all is the great relationships I build with clients and watching them walk away uplifted with a renewed self confidence!

Kathy Zulauf

Kathy Zulauf Position: Aesthetician, Office Manager
Experience: 4 years

I joined Skin RN, Inc. in April of 2004 after a mid-life career change. After 17 years of being in the banking industry my daughter, Teresa, owner of Skin RN, Inc. talked me into going to Aesthetic school at the age of 52. I started at New Directions Aesthetic Academy in June of 2003 and completed the course in April of 2004.

I have since continued my education with various classes and seminars outside of Skin RN. They include:

International Dermal Institute, Atlanta, GA.: Skin Analysis which included Aging Skin, Acne, Rosacea and Hyperpigmentation classes.

Image Skin Care, Nashville, TN: Peels including Glycolic, Salicylic.

Bellanina Institute, Ann Arbor, MI: Certified in the Bellanina Facelift Massage System.

Dynatronics, Salt Lake City, UT: Synergie microdermabrasion peel with vacuum massage, Synergie LT – Light treatment and Synergie Cellulite Body treatment.

Skin Medica: Vitalize Peels.

MD Skincare: Alpha Beta Peels and Product Knowledge Classes.

Obagi Skincare: Product knowledge classes in Nu-Derm and Obagi – C Systems.

Theraderm Skincare: Product knowledge classes in Theraderm Skin Renewal System.

In my spare time when I don’t have a client appointment I am the Office Manager of Skin RN and the “on staff” Mom. Duties range from data entry to laundry and everything in between. It keeps me busy.

We all work together at Skin RN and this is our second family. We care about our clients their expectations and results. I love my new career and I’m happy I made the change. So here I am 6 years later and 10 years younger! Come see how we do it, we’ll show you a difference.
