What Is Permanent Makeup?

Also known as permanent cosmetics, it is the application of tinted permanent ink into the skin to give the appearance of makeup, without actually wearing any.  Common treatment areas include eyeliner, eyebrows, lips, and areolas. A wide range of colors are available, and our makeup artists can match your desired colors before an application.

How We Perform a Permanent Makeup Application

Skin RN uses a combination of hand held tattoo needles and a permanent makeup device.  Our hand held needles are specifically designed for permanent cosmetics and give our makeup artists the ability to be extremely accurate and gentle during your makeup application.  While the treatment may take a little longer, you can feel certain that the final result will be exactly what you want.

Our permanent makeup device is also designed for all permanent cosmetics.  Unlike a "tattoo gun" our device uses smaller needles to minimize discomfort and irritation, ensuring a more comfortable treatment and a better final result.

By combining these two methods, we can provide great results with very little discomfort.

A typical appointment lasts two to three hours depending on the size of the area, and pricing includes one touch up session within three to six weeks of your initial application.

Our permanent makeup artists are licensed medical aestheticians, with formal training in permanent makeup artistry, and several years experience.  Before your permanent makeup application, you can discuss your options and desired look in a free consultation to ensure your satisfaction.

Eyeliner:
top or bottom, 2 hours - $475
both, 3 hours - $650

Eyebrows:
3 hours - $500

Lips:
full color, 3 hours - $900
lip liner - $500

Pricing includes one touch-up within 3-6 weeks after initial session.
Additional touch-ups 3 hours - Starting at $150

*Touch-up price for procedures not originally performed at Skin RN Aesthetics will be determined on an individual basis.
