What Is Permanent Makeup?

Also known as permanent cosmetics, it is the application of tinted permanent ink into the skin to give the appearance of makeup, without actually wearing any.  Common treatment areas include eyeliner, eyebrows, lips, and areolas. A wide range of colors are available, and makeup artists can match your desired makeup colors before an application.

How do we perform a permanent makeup treatment?

Skin RN uses a combination of hand held tattoo needles and a permanent makeup device that are specifically designed for the application of permanent cosmetics.  Hand held needles provide our makeup artists the ability to be very accurate during your makeup application, while also being able to apply variable pressure in sensitive areas.  These needles aren't attached to any kind of machine, so while the treatment may take a little longer, you can feel certain that the final result will be exactly what you want.

We also use a permanent makeup device that is specifically designed for permanent cosmetics.  Unlike a "tattoo gun" our device uses smaller needles to minimize discomfort and irritation, ensuring a more comfortable treatment and a better final result.

By combining these two methods, we can offer the very best results with the least discomfort.

A typical treatment lasts two to three hours depending on the size of the area, and pricing includes one touch up session within three to six weeks of your initial application.

Additional touch-ups 3 hours - Starting at $150
